I have 9.1 calcium ionized,12.8 vitamin d and 93.8 PTH ...Dr. recommended me shelcal 500 twice a day and D-RISE 60000 iu weekly for 2 months ...after one month I still have some discomfort in my chest sometimes ...plz should I continue the medication or should I consult the doctor again...and how much time did it take to recover

My Blood Sugar level was 222 in the morning (Fasting). **********************************

Sir today I checked my blood glucose level. It was 100 when taken at fasting but atvtge same time when it was repeated after 2 hours ( PP) it shows around 89 mg/dl. Why the PP level is less than the fasting level sir.

Hello! I just had my blood test this morning and my glycohemoglobin is 5.2% but my fasting blood sugar is 114 mg/dL. Does this mean I'm pre-diabetic?

Hello, I'm a 18 years old girl, I don't have any health issues and I don't take any medication. Only my grandmothers have diabetes , and only my grandfathers have high blood pressure... September 2017 I was 57 kg, and now july 2018, I became 70 kg...My diet didn't change and nothing has changed. Please found attached my blood results. Plus I got a lot of ugly stretch marks...Is there any medication I can use to get rid of them so they don't become scars?Do I have prediabetes?Insulin resistance?

I have heard that there are many types of diabetes that one may have. My understanding tells me that there is only one type, in which one is not able to produce insulin. Please help me understand different types of diabetes that are there.

Hey! My father is a 65 year old man and he has had diabetes for over half of his life. Recently, he has developed some problems with the nerves and I fear it might be an indication of Diabetic Neuropathy. What do you have to say about this? He feels sharp pains and burning sensations in his feet and hand.

I am diabetic and have hypertension since last 10 years. I had a good control over sugar since June 2018. Test conducted on 09/06/2018 showed an Hb1ac of 11.8 (Estimated average plasma Glucose 271.30). Fasting is 256. 53 mg/dl. Lipid profile serum 202.89 (Triglycerides 164. 07H. HDL 28. 28 while LDL is 140. 80H). I would like to know whether I should move to insulin for better management. I am ready to take it both temporarily or permanently to improve life quality. Now today Fasting was 139 and PP 198. Currently I am taking following tablets : 1) Gemer DS 2...Twice daily.  2) Olmizest 40 ( once for BP) 3) Rosovel A ( for Lipid)  4) Ursocol 150 for lever engime ( thrice a day ) 5) Serte .25 ( for anxiety ).  Out of all teblet for Lipid and liver engime started since last one month when abnormalities was seen in LFT and Increased value in LFT.....................Please advice me further on this matter.

I've been taking MetroCard XL 50 by mistake but as per prescription I'm supposed to take metpure XL 50. Is it okay to have taken that for a while now.. And what's the difference btw those two medicines.. Thanks
