Hi Doctors My blood sugar after food is 172 is it normal or sign of pre diabetes. What should the fasting sugar and after meal. When to check the sugar morning or night. Please suggest.

Doctor has prescribed Ryzodeg 30-70 12units and 14 units morning and night. After noon 1 udapa 5 mg and Tagon M 500mg morning and night. Hb1Ac is 12.6 prior to starting the meds. Diabetic since age 40. Has been using insuman comb 50-50. But now its not available anymore. Can you suggest a more economic alternative to Ryzodeg. We find it a bit costly. Preferably a pen with cartridges. Thank you

Doctor prescribed me with a tablet Verifica M 50/500mg Currently my HBA1C is 5.9 and my sugar levels fasting is 90 and post meal is 113 I went to a doctor if we can reduce the dose and the doctor advised to take VERIFICA SR 100mg before lunch and no meds before dinner and now when I am monitoring my sugar the fasting sugar is 106 & 108, Is it fine? Or shall I go see another doctor?
