My father is having thyroid problem, he is also having problem in breathing , so are they connected , done ecg and all but all is normal . may i also know causes of this desease thyroid.

Taking insuilin injection ,medicine but sugar not in control .he has sugar fron 15 yrs.he is taking insuline injection from 5 years but now condition is that fron 2 months sugar reach 400 and after controlling it comes to 200 to 300.please suggest the solution of controlling issue of sugar.
