Total cholesterol 265, non hdl 205, ldl 188 I'm 22F with no family history of cholesterol with decent diet. I'm taking metwyn xl 12.5 since 4 days before that i was taking metoporolol for 3 weeks I'm feeling good & not having any palpitations can i stop taking that medication. Also the doctor whom I consulted said me to stop taking those medication, but before when I tried to stop it for 2 times the palpitations came back with sharp chest pain.
