Advise needed for Angiography

Hello, my father in law age is 68 years and he had a heart attack last week. Now his condition is stable and we are planning for an angiography. Today there was a blood test happened in which UREA results are 57 and CREATININE results are 2.1 Doctors are saying that till the time this UREA and CREATININE doesn't comes in control we cannot do angiography of the heart to find out the blockage in the heart. I want to confirm that is it really necessary for this UREA and CREATININE to come in control for the angiography? I request you to please suggest further.
