Hello, My mother just completed a course of medication for vit b13 and vit d deficiency. She also suffers from hypertension . She complained of swelling in feet hence we went to doc. Her bp had shot up to 180. Her medicines were changed ref. Attachment. Also he told to do 2d echo. While all seems normal only one thing the report says worries me I.e. grade i/iv lv diastolic dysfunction of mitral valve How serious is it and is it curable and what are precautions to be taken Thank you for your time

My mother has high bp problem since 2 yrs, before 2 days her bp was high due to which we consulted one doctor and now whn she do any work she feels pain in heart.

Breathing problem while having increase in heart rate and having pain on left side chest. She had low BP in past but now a days high BP observed 98 and 153. Please suggest treatment without surgery...

Hello Doc, I was recently advised by general physician for 10 day course on Telma 40 mg as my BP reading was recorded 170/110. I did evening reading for next 4 -5 daya and observed reading around 100 /150 to 115 / 155. After taking the tab for 6 days now my ME is around 130/90 and now at 120/80 for last 2 days at ME. Have cut down on my salt intake, NV, oily food . Started around 4 - 5 km walk and 20 min of Pranayam. Please advise, what should I pursue. I have a BMI of 26.5

I was brought bp machine.but it not showing accurate reading.can u please suggest good bp checking machine.

I am finding discomfort near chest and often feel pain near chest area which lasts less then a minute. I have checked with cardiologist and did all possible test which ruled out heart related issues and said my heart rate was around 130. I question would be How to bring heart rate down. Dey say it's because of Anxiety. I was in medicine fr a week Atenol 25mg and Anxiet 0.25 I have 228 mg cholesterol. I have started walking and medication. But I still fear or anixous of pain and I feel. How to get rid of this chest pain which goes and comes. Plz help me that would be great. I don't smoke and occasionally drink alcohol. Now I ve limited alcohol.

Sometimes I feel my heart palpitating without any reason. I have got BP and have been in medication for quite a few months. I take Telpres MT 50 half tablet everyday. My family doctor tells me it is a case of Tachycardia and is more congenital since my father also has the same. I occasionally visit local physicians to check my BP and it seems the levels are quite within normal range. Like 80/110 - 85/130. According to them the only thing I can do now is to stop taking stress and reduce anxiety if any. Is there anything I should be really concerned of?

Hi.. Few days back I climbed stairs (two rounds) in my second floor house with some heavy stuff. Just after completing stairs, I was feeling some giddiness.. But instead of lie down on bed , I preferred to go washroom.. After sitting on WC for one minutes, I fell unconscious. When I opened my eyes I was on floor with two broken teeth, my specs was damaged, a round on my forehead... Was it a stroke / attach.. Should I consult a heart specialist/ general physician / get ECG etc. done. My father had heart attack in 2007 when he was 62; open heart surgery was done.. in 2010 he had another heart failure, which he could not survive.. Does it make my case my critical? I have hypo thyroid since 2005 and taking 100 mg eltroxin daily... My thyroid is within range for last 6 month.

I m severe PAH patient and already diagnosed at PGI, Chandigarh I took sildenafil citrate pill since last 4 yrs. I have chest pain all the time and shortness of breath. I was very thin, only 40kg and height of 5" 4. I need more weight. What shall I do?
