Had a heart attack 1 year ago. Had a angioplasty with 1 stent. Six months ago had a echo lvef is 40 percent and moderate systolic dysfunction. I m on my medicines and no high bp and i walk for 30 minutes daily. Quited tobacco chewing totally.
Now within 15 days i will again go for echo test.
Questions.
1) will my lvef will increase more than 40 percent.
Or it will take time.
Or its permanent to 40 percent

It may or may not. Depends upon several factors. One of them being timing of your angioplasty. If it was done immediately then your ef may return to normal but if done when part of your heart was damaged then it may not. But good thing is that irrespective of the value you may lead a healthy life with proper medication and lifestyle advice. Don't simply look at the numbers.
