I want to run in a marathon of 5km. Should I go for it or not? I had undergone an open heart surgery for VSD and ruptured sinus of valsalva in March, 2015. I feel pretty normal now, I go for yoga regularly. Planing to start daily running.

Hi Case My mom Female 71. T2DM Two episodes of convulsions 6 years ago.(undiagnosed for 5years so 11yrs)  She is healthy considering her age. Diabetes uncontrolled for last 2 years.On insulin. 15-0-0. ECG variations seen. Echo report attached. Cardiologist has adviced CAG. Does this echo need CAG? Please help. Not that I don't want to do CAG but is it advisable and really necessary? Thanks in advance.
