Lower Heart Rate
For the past 2 weeks, I was on antibiotics Cefakind and Oflox since I was diagnosed with Typhoid. Antibiotics now complete. I am taking Telpres 40 in the morning and Revelol Am 50/5 in the night for BP. For the past 2 days, I noticed that my Heart rate is between 58 to 65 when I am in rest. Morning while getting up it shows around 57 and later it elevates to 75. But in the afternoon, when I rest it is again at 60-65. I am not an athlete. Whether medication change the Heart rate. Whether this Heart rate is normal. Kindly advise

Squeezing & Tightness in Right Chest
My father aged 64 (weight 85, height 5-9") is occassionally feeling squeezing, tightness and tingling in the right chest with no pain. He has these symptoms from last 15 days and we consulted a general physician and already had 3 follow up visits but there is no improvement.
My father has high BP and takes Amlopin AT from over 10 years now. But he missed out the medicines for over a month before facing this issue. From last 15 days his BP is continuously over 170/90. Initially the pulse was about 50. On this doctor has changed his routine medicine from Amlopin At to Amlopin, now his pulse is normal (around 60+) but BP is still an issue.
Doctor advised that this problem will take 6 months to cure and there is nothing that can be done and no need to worry, also there is no test required. But 6 months seems to be a very long time.
I am actually concerned if this may relate to heart disease and not sure if I should visit a cardiologist.
Please guide.
