Respected doctors what are the complications/bad effects of Hypertension of a young adult? Is it life threatening for a young? What should be optimum BP for a young person male. Thanks. Can High BP cause any specific complication to be noted

Hypertension is important modifiable risk factor. It is bad to have hypertension and in young we mostly investigate for secondary causes.
Pls see your doctor who will advise you tests especially focussed on kidney and VMA among others.

Better search internet sir. BP desirable 130/90. Anything above these is hypertension

Hello,
Optimum level of BP is below 130/90. Hypertension can cause acute as well as long term complications. Acute complications include brain hemorrhage and heart failure . Long term complications include kidney damage, heart wall thickening, eye damage and higher chances of vascular diseases.
