General Surgery

Mother is 66 years old, height 4'5 inch, weight 52 kg and has both Copd and Severe Sleep Apnea.. Currently using CPAP since last 2 months.. She also has thyroid, bp and anxiety.. Has multiple gallstones size 8 mm.. Very mild pain sometimes.. No vomiting ever.. No fever ever.. Good appetite.. Is she fit for surgery next month or should we delay it?

I am 66 years old have and COPD and slight post covid changes in my lungs.. It has been one year since I had Covid.. No breathing issue at all.. Just dry cough sometimes.. I use fortecort inhaler 200  twice a day.. Can I go for gallbladder removal surgery next month? Will it be safe?

I am about to do laser sphincterotomy and fissuractomy in next week and i am really worried so i have below question please answer 1. Does they give Enema before surgery 2. What if I have hard stool after the surgery will the wound open up again or the stool will cause infection in anus ? 3. What if i strain for passing stool after surgery ? Will the constipation after surgery will cause fissur or piles or fistula again? 4. Because of laxative i will have watery stool or diarrhea so will that cause bacterial infection ? 5. How much time it will take to recover from surgery ? 6. How long dressing will be required post op ?

My brother fall from scooty and he forget to take titnes injection , now near his wound redish shows and burn like fire ... Please tell what happened and how to cure it

I found the node in the month of May on the right side of my neck which can be felt only not seen when i keep my finger on node it dances i consulted my ent asap i was worried he told me you have had suffered an infection in past that's why it has swollen and has been with me for years may be months passed now it didn't go down nor getting bigger i went to my doc again he told me it's nothing and some lymph nodes don't go away it stays swollen for life i didn't have any other symptoms like sweats pain or Rash or itching and fever to make sure it's nothing he told me to do my tests and usg lymphocytes cbc urine stool kft lft harmonal panel All were normal and usg showed lymph node 6×5mm in reactive node in benign condition and now its September it still is there dancing in the same position and same size i thought of doing fnac but my doc told me he only refers fnac to patients with 1 or more cm bigger and there nodes grow in days and  weeks and he told me to leave it alone.

Any antibiotic for infection in anus issue normal fisher problem facing problem from last 10 days pl share

How much fissuractomy and internal sphincterectomy laser operation is successful and what are the side effects? Does it resolve the issue permanently I am about to do it
