Hi, 2 months back I underwent a laser surgery for pilonidal sinus.Doctor performed PILONIDAL SINUS EXPLORATION+Laser ablation of sinus tract. The finding was short pilonidal sinus tract with absence of hairs and ineffective tissue. After that surgery , I was fine without any pain.but since 2 days onwards I'm getting pain in the same place. But There is no discharge from that.only pain is getting increased.what could be the reason? Is this is the reaccurance of pilonidal sinus? If it is what should be the treatment? Plz suggest

I was tested positive for dengue in August this year and took complete course of Caripill to recover. My platelets back then had dropped to around 45k but I recovered eventually. Off late, I've seen my platelet count rise to the range of 4.5-4.7 lacs. In the past (before dengue) it used to be in the range of 3.5-4 lacs. I'm worried about this sudden spike. What could be the reason? Kindly help.

Hello dr. Can you pls tell if there is anything wrong on fissureactomy side? Attached picture. It started paining since week. Now the pain has got down then earlier but it is still hurt to touch.

I'm having deinogesterol 2mg for my endometriosis since 3 months.Since I have piles, I'm prescribed with Aldosmin 500 mg 3 times a day and oflox 200mg twice a day.Can I have these medicines together? Is it OK to take these medicines along with deinogesterol 2mg?

I had a fistuletomy surgery 3 months back. The surgical wound has formed a scar tissue. The scar is sensitive to touch but not painful. The scar feels normal, but after a warm sitz bath, the scar becomes hard and inflamed. After a few hours or after a cold ice pack, the harness and inflamation reduce and feel normal. Is this ok? I can not avoid sitz bath as my wound is still healing.

Hello I had fissureactomy and lis 2.5 month ago. My wound was healing. Now a week ago I had bulky stool due to fiber intake since then I m feeling pin and stinging pain on fissureactomy side where my fissure was.

Having high grade fever every evening since 5days after surgery of cyst in armpit and cyst in butt My doctor prescribed medication but every evening i have high fever and muscle aches is it possible?

It's been already 2 days that I got a cut from mirror which peeled off my skin.It was bleeding but it stopped after some time.I took all the safety measures at home. My questions are Can I use betadine regularly on the wound and cover it with band aid ? How do I know my wound is infected? Should I consult a doctor? Is betadine harmful? What should I use for my wound and how do I treat it at home?
