My mother (55) suffers from constipation and often passes dark brownish stools. Once she was so constipated that a lot of blood came out with stool and she felt a muscle slipped out of her anus. A few months ago she suffered from pneumonia and her hemoglobin level was quite low, she started taking iron pills which made her constipation worse. Now she is off iron pills and last time we checked her hemoglobin was 10.20(still low). Recently she noticed a pinch of dry blood stain on her underwear, we are assuming its rectal bleeding. I am scared. I am tensed if it is something bad. What should we do now?

I have got my fibroscan of liver done. CAP score is 341 and kPa is 4.5. doctor recommended this test as I had fatty liver in ultrasound. Is this a severe case of liver damage or sm I at grade 1 ?

Sir/madam. My age 40, height 172cm, weight 86 kg. Monthly twice I used to take alcohol. (Now stopped for 2months). My SGOT is 24.7 SGPT. Is 39 Bilirubin is .6 Direct bilirubin is .2 Indirect bilirubin is .4 Total protein is 6.1 Alkaline phosphate is 150.4. I want to prevent my liver from alcohol damage. And now I am planning for intermittent diet for weight loss. And limit my alcohol intake. What I have to do to improve my liver health.

I have done recently colonoscopy and rectal mucosal biopsy shows lamina propria shows edema and moderate infiltrate of lymphocytes and plasma cells. no granuloma or crypt abscess seen.there are no dyplastic changes. IMPRESSION :CHRONIC NON SPECIFIC PROCTITIS. Can it be cured is it a serious condition .please clarify sir/mam.

I have fatty liver.. Before 3 month.. Dr prescribe me ursodous.300. Eticolic 10 and adehep 400 after taking 3 months I am ok.. My fat level is normal level my liver stiffness is also normal level in fibro scan.. Dr told me stop medicine... Sir I want to know that can I eat chicken curry onece in a month.. Now a days i am only eating simple food without oil...

Having too much of gas formation in stomach after food or before and it passes normally but it's bothering me

2 days back i had a glass of beer and large amt of non veg as i visited barbecue nation.. yesterday i was having stomach ache with feverish feeling.. today i got my blood work done.. hb 14.5 , wbc 5.6, sgpt 97, sgot 55, total cholesterol 135, triglycerides 140 , creatinine 0.95 , total bilirubin 1.16. My family doc prescribed me udiliv 300 one tab a day for 10 days and vit D3 sachet for one month.. Today i dont have stomach ache but i am feeling feverish.. plz suggest wat should i do. I drink alcohol rarely

Hello Doctor, I have notice issue on my triceps muscle, buttocks muscle tone reducing which causing tailbone pressure more qnd getting pain , as well calf muscle or under ties muscle tone reduced, I consult rheumatologist qnd did some test ANA , HLAB27 AND CPK ETC ALL NEGATIVE , as per blood qnd urine test taken recently normal not much issue , so is there any issue causing this muscle peotine loss , my weight reduction stopped now 64.8 maintaining before it was 68 an year back qnd reduced now to 64.8 , only suspect thyroid T4 in boarder range so what could be the reason this muscle weekness. Attached report, abdomen scan is normal except grade 1 fatty liver , and small Ambrical hernia with omental fat as content mean what , my concern is metion area fat loss happend mainly on buttock and triceps, calf .
