Just did ultrasound for abdomen n pelvis it showed liver normal size but mildly altered echo texture and lft is normal previously I was daigonised with chronic liver disease

I have suffering from lower abdominal pain and constipation. My MD doctor has suggested me to a gastro doctor. The pain started since Oct but didn't have constipation that time but now i am starting to have constipation and I have consulted urologist and gynaecologist but the medicine's are not helping me. My MD doctor I must be suffering from IBS-C . Can you help me find out the problem and if it's IBS-C . Please help me out with some medicines for the pain and constipation ? And diet plan or foods to avoid.

I have an anal skin tag since a few years but over the last 3 days it's become painful when I sit and also itchy does this require surgery ? There is no blood in stools or otherwise just painful and itching

Hi, I got diagnosed with sludge/tiny soft calculi in gall bladder. USG says: The liver is enlarged (16.1cm). It appears bright in echotexture. No focal lesion seen. Intrahepatic biliary radicles are not dilated. Gall bladder: - It is distended. Moderate amount of sludge/ tiny soft calculi are seen in the Gall bladder lumen. The wall thickness is normal. Common bile duct is not dilated. I am non-alcoholic and not have any pain in chest or nausea. Its still in early stage, it got caught due to USG for my gerd. I have chronic GERD which caused LPR. although due to diet control my GERD is under control. I don't want to opt for surgery and want to know what are the chances that this will get cured with diet control and UDCA medicine. Thanks

I experienced palpitations and tiredness 3 days ago. I checked my BP and it was normal. I checked my pulse and it was elevated. I always have a high resting HR. Between 90-102. My GP said it's ok. But the HR was elevating when I stood up. Noticing this for 3 days. It rises up to 127-136 immediately after I stand up. It goes down if I stand in the same place or sit down immediately. If I start to walk, it keeps rising.  Also have palpitations while sitting walking and standing.  Went to my GP and he did EKG and he said it's ok and told me to see the hematologist. My hb is 10.9. iron 32.I have an alpha thalassemia trait.So he said that could be causing my symptoms and referred. I have not gotten any treatment for thalassemia.Diagnosed last year since I have low mch,mcv,mchc. Should I see the cardiologist to evaluate if it's any heart conditions.Since I have high HR and palpitations.Also feeling very tired throughout the day. Taking iron supplements everyday.  I am obese (103kgs).

Hello doctors need advice on sibo i believe im facing extreme bloating. So i am not sure. Whenever i wakeup the bloating starts and if i eat something it gets worsen.

My son is 12 yrs old initially he was diagnosed h pylori through endoscopy in August he was given clarithromycin 500 mg 1.0.1,  Metrogyl 400 mg 1.1.1 and Pantocid 40 mg 1.0.1. for 14 days. He had bit improvment after the course but had consistent burps and stomach pain he continued with Esograss fast 40 mg 1.0.1 and Ganantonin 50 0.1.0 he had improvement but still had stomach pain and vomit like with continuous burps and pain after eating. We had again endoscopy in November he again got diagnosed with H Pylori and was given Metmox 500 1.1.1, Bisgram 120 1.1.1 and Vonefi for 14 days but as medicine were heavy he was able to take for 7 days only. As of now he is still having stomach pain and continuous burps, His liver reports, thyroid and blood reports are normal. Why are conditions not improving please guide. Mayank Sharma 75xxxxxx60.

Hello respected doctor i recently got through laproscopic cholecystectomy so I did some imageing (cect and ultrasound) both are normal in context of liver apart from borderline hepatomegaly liver is 15.0 cm In routine lft test sgot is 40.6 and sgpt 76 I am overweight bmi is 32 I read a lot of things on internet about liver conditions currently I do life style modification 40 minutes exercise a day. Is fibro scan necessary

Dear respected gastroenterologist it's been 3 yrs gallbladder removal surgery but currently i am facing loose stools,mucus, urgency,3_4times poops in day 7am _5pm not in night ,i have consulted with a gastroenterologist he prescribed medicine for me is 1.RIFAXIMIN 550MG,(2_times) 2VASOREX,(3 times in a day half an hour before eating) 3.itokon 50 mg( times in a day half an hour before eating) 4.psyllium husk(10gm in night) medicines are helping  me but i am facing difficulty in urination don't know any one causing side effects please guide me what to do next should i stop taking any one of medicine.
