Hi. I had my Upper GI endoscopy 3 days back . The report is normal but I am feeling a little irritation in my throat also having a sore throat . I am getting low grade fever from 2 days . There is not any difficulty in swallowing food or any other pain other than little discomfort in throat and chest. Please suggest if this is normal or not.

Constipation
Dear Doctor,
I wanted to update you about my condition. This started after I completed a course of antibiotics for a throat infection. The next day, my stool became very hard, but I thought it might be a one-time issue.
However, the next day I had sharp pain and was unable to pass stool. I increased my water intake and ate fruits, but there was no improvement.
After that, I took Duphalac syrup, but even the next day there was still pain and no relief. Later, I took two Dulcoflex tablets at night, and within about an hour I was able to pass stool and felt completely cleared.
The next morning I felt slightly better, but there was still some pain and no bowel movement. Since then, I continue to feel the urge to pass stool, and I can feel it coming, but it does not pass. I am passing gas, and there is no blood.
Currently, I still have the urge but am unable to pass stool properly.
Could you please advise

GLP advice
Hi,
I have Pcos and I train at the gym and also do Pilates. But my weight doesn't go down. Even if does it stays the same on the scale. I have experienced rapid weight loss but it increases again. I manage my appetite and do physical activity. I am thinking about getting extra help just get the boast and reduce the right amount of weight. But I don't want to take GLP 1 for a longer period of time. I need advice if I do one month of it. Will it help me? If I continue with gym and Pilates?

Seeking gastroenterologist advice
My father (57M) and mother(57F) have been taking Kayam tablets daily for over a year for constipation and are now completely dependent on them and cannot pass stool without them. Kayam contains 50% Senna and Mulethi (Licorice) which I understand can cause electrolyte imbalance and bowel dependency with long term use.
My father had an abdominal USG done recently which also incidentally found a 4.2mm kidney stone in the left kidney (no hydronephrosis). He exercises daily and has no chest pain, palpitations or other symptoms.
Looking for guidance from a gastroenterologist on:
• Safe tapering plan to wean off Kayam
• Whether Isabgol or Lactulose can help during transition
• What blood tests should be done given this history
• Whether the kidney stone needs treatment or just monitoring
I am willing to follow up with additional appointments as well. Thanks!
