Consult with a doctor

Hi, Low normal free T4 with normal TSH and easy weight gain is quite common and not serious. It may relate to diet, activity, or other factors rather than a clear thyroid issue. Repeat thyroid tests along with a full checkup would help clarify. Feel free to consult for further guidance.

1) your Free T3 (the active form of thyroid hormone) and Thyroid Antibodies (TPO and TgAb) to rule out early-stage autoimmune thyroid activity (like Hashimoto's). 2) how your 900 kcal BMR was calculated. If it was determined via an online calculator, it may be highly inaccurate. If it was measured via clinical indirect calorimetry (breathing into a machine), 3) do you have any other disorders? Without knowing all those we can’t say the reason for your weight gain . Feel free to contact me for further consultation . Thankyou
