I had some acidity problem since 3 days and for that my doctor yesterday prescribed me Deltone 60 mg capsules for acidity and but the medicine was not available in any nearby pharmacy. So the pharmacist gave me DDR 60 which is said to be the same medicine with a different brand name. It kind of looks like a generic medicine. Are these generic medicines as effective as branded ones? Or should I search for the same brand that my doctor prescribed?

I had adult chickenpox last month. I had a course of valacyclovir 3g a day for 7 days and then cefuroxime for 5 days twice a day. After 2 weeks i had loose motions, was treated with rifagut 550 and vsl3 2x a day. Now after 2 more weeks, yesterday i had constipation and have also seen that i am losing weight. My question is, 3 months back when i saw a tony worm on my stool, i had taken bandy plus. Why did it happen again? And is badly plus safe for kidney? I havent checked my renal and liver parameters after the chickenpox as it was not prescribed by doctor. Please guide me if there's any other safe medicine for kidneys. I have idiopathic frequent urination issue, uktrasound and kft always came normal though. So, just to be cautious..
