Hi doc Me and my mother both suffer from allergic rhinitis..I get post nasal drip and she gets runny nose..both of ours symptoms get resolved if we take antihistamine like cetrizine + montelukast. But if we take fluticasone nasal spray, there is no improvement at all even after month..both of us get no relief from nasal sprays...even tried metaspray. What is the reason behind this?? Is it genetics? Or the corticosteroid is not getting absorbed? Or its getting absorbed but not producing result. I want to know for general medical knowledge that if there are no results, does it also mean that corticosteroid will be unable to produce any of the side effects since body is not responding. I know that corticosteroid used in nasal sprays is anyways local application only but it also has " increased eye pressure" as a rare side effect. Persons not responding to steroids also mean they won't respond in terms of side effects in general? Is it true? Thanks .. please explain

From yesterday i am having gas trouble and disgestion issue continuing with pain in back near both the ear bone. Today gas burping and itchy throat feeling. No fever or cough. Only occasional cough when itchiness in throat occurs. Please guide me.

Im having brown spotting on 12 day of my cycle.also having cramps.what us the reason? Having cramps almost everyday on and off since period started.today its more intense. I have 32 33 day cycle normaly.

Is betnesol forte very high dose steroid medicine??? Please help few years back i was having hairfall and doctor gave me betnesol forte for 20 days ( one tablet every day) It is a very high dose medicine ? PleSe help at that time i didn't knew what steroids are

I suffered from severe covid in May and was hospitalised for 15 days. Now i am recovering with 2 months into my recovery. My spo2 is fine but my heart rate remains high. Sitting - approx 100-105 Fast walking - 140-150 Running 180 Before covid my heart rate was little low than the above values i have mentioned. I got my ecg and cardiologist said ecg is fine . Will my heart rate subside in some time ? Is it common after covid to have high heart rate ?

I'm 22 , and my ALT(SGPT) is 78 , and in the report it's written it should be below 50. SGOT is normal but A:G ratio is 2.06, whereas it should be below 2. Is this something very serious for me or can I control it?

I have some time constant burping and throat tightness, sometime chest heaviness mainly in night or after the meal.

I am having foot pain in both legs when i take deep breath and hold for few seconds after that sharp leg pain starts and stops i am having numbness in both legs from 2 weeks no other problem currently I on tb medication from last 5 months

I saw my dad's one hand swollen like this ..it has pain too since 2days and one of the ankle is swollen too. What could be the possible reasons? Hot and cold compressions didn't work.. the swollen part seems like some fluid filled edema. Kindly suggest something.
