So, i am here at sikkim for travel, i ate a lot of spicy food and some alcohol too, 3-4 ounce. Since last night i am having stool, i mean it will feel pressure(just like we get before going to poop), and i am going again and again. So far it is not diarrhoea/loose motions. I have norflox with me, should I take it? And if yes, can i take it early at the morning without food or i have to take with food? Note: i am not self medicating as I suffer from gallbladder polyp(tiny though), and don't want to risk anything. And for the food, i always eat good, since i was travelling, i had this kind of food after so long. But seems that also is giving me problems :(. Please advise., and if i take norflox whats the dosage? And yes, i hsd taken a pudin hars early this lorning at 4:00 as i had poop that time.

I petted stray cat who was friendly. It didn't bite or scratch me but I have very slight abrasion on my finger ( not wound, pics attached). There's no bleeding or open "cut" per say but slight abrasion of finger skin is there. I didn't come in contact with saliva of animal, I only patted it's back. Do I need rabies shot. My family says it doesn't spread from petting cats generally.

My IgE level is 7.90 IU/mL Is this normal? Is there anything to worry? I am really scared. Please answer. Thank you.

Hello doctors, I am Amit, and have been experiencing few symptoms since 10-12 days. I am having very short lived spasms and pinching like symptoms  throughout my body. Mostly it is in my legs and hands, very rarely it's in my chest and face, and sometimes in the groin area. I have a bit of weakness , although not much. I have sleep issues also,but usually i experience these symptoms when I am at home and not moving around, or worrying about something anxiously. I got my comprehensive blood tests done. It showed normal blood count, haemoglobin,etc,no diabetes,no liver problems. But there are some problems which are as follows:- 1. Differential lymphocytes - 40.4% (ref. range-20-40%) 2. Differential Eosinophils- 6.6(ref range- 1-6) 3. Calcium- 8.2mg/dl(ref range-8.4-10.2) 4.hdl - 35mg/dl(ref range - 40-60) 5. Ldl-123.09mg/dl(ref range- above desirable) 6.T3 and T4 normal but TSH is 17.13uIU/ml( normal range- 0.55-4.78) 7. Vitamin d total -6.7ng/ml (deficiency< 20).
