Used injection through injection site pricked my finger is there any risk of infection or anything else and after that i rubbed sanitiser on my hand and blood also came out my finger

My son is experiencing high fever from 2 days and he has been prescribed dolo mf alongwith moxkind. I was unsure of mefenamic acid that got banned recently but still giving as he is shivering a lot when in fever. Leg pains, headache is also there. His CRP level came as 14 and ESR is 19. But it's third day, neither the severity of fever has changed nor the frequency. What do I do? How long the child will suffer?
