Hi, if you have cleaned the wound for a week with wound solution (Betadine etc) and followed general precautions, now that scab has formed the chances of it getting infected are minimal. However look for danger signs like redness, pain at site of wound, yellow discharge from wound, fever. Please share pics on WhatsApp 861830679five
Next Steps
Needs in person consult. Would recommend a general surgeon

Your question is not clear. Are you asking for yourself or for the society at large ? If you are asking for yourself then you got the injury 20 days ago, then you have mentioned that the wound is completely "healed off" . Where is the problem ? If you are asking about a wound which was acquired 7 days earlier , then it is not your wound. Please stick to one problem at a time in tele-consultation.

Patient's detailed medical history is required. It is recommended to consult a doctor professional through the Practo app or visit a local medical facility for a thorough evaluation. Please keep in mind that detailed medical history is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hello, it completely depends on what kind of wound it was and what kind of treatment was taken. If it was a superficial wound like an abrasion, it’s less likely that you got an infection 7 days later (provided it wasn’t infected to begin with), especially now that it’s healed completely, 20 days later. For more information, kindly provide details.
