My mom was diagnosed with cataract in April 2015, still not operated. As per her yesterday Blood sugar report Fasting is 188 and PP is 219. She has extreme blurred visibility in her right eye. Doctors of private hospitals says they can do the surgery however Govt hospitals asks her to get the level of Glucose PP down to 100 which is not happening before they can do the surgery. My query is whom to believe, what kind of risks are involved and are the pvt. doctors just wanting to make money and not considering the risks???!!!! FYI my mom is only about 45-49 kgs and controls extensively, does brisk walking, eats karela,neem and what not to bring down the level but just not happening and in turn getting weaker day by day...

Is there treatment for nystagmus. I am having it since birth. Doctors say its genetic and can't be cured

Recently tears roll down my eyes and have a burning sensation in my eyes. I was using itone eye drops but recently it had aggravated n couldn't open my eyes for long. There is a continuous irritation n burning in my eyes n tears roll down if I keep my eyes open. I was prescribed ciploxd eye drops by my family doctor for past two days but I m a little better not cured. Please suggest.

I have fillowing complaints since 5-7 yrs . Please tell me doctor what is it.. - dry itchy eyes -cant tolerate direct a.c. or fan on eyes. - cant tolerate extreme light sunlight or artificial. It causes headache which relieves only after good sleep. -redness of eyes on exertion. Tiny veins are visible all the time. -lubricants relieves till i uses it. -myopia since 10yrs.

Kindly suggest something. BWhat CAN I DO FOR QUICK REVIVAL. Already taking sone eye drops. Ciplloflexin.

I am a computer user for more than 10 hours daily, from last 6 month i am facing dryness, redness, eaching and stress in left eye,and forehead, is this problem is curable, also i have visited 1 doctor recently he said its not curable, you have to avoid uncomfirtable situation , wind, polution and computer, or taking breaks after every 1/2 in your working time..

My right eye vision is 6/9 and axis is -1.85 cycle is 180 ° I decided to do laser surgery this is the best way to improve eyesight.Is is right age to do laser without risk?

Recently till last night my eyes were normal...when I woke up suddenly I saw a swelling in my left eye, I think it's some sort of infection...can someone help me in prescribing some cure/medicine for it!!!

By mistake, Derobin ointment contacted with my eye. But I washed off my eyes immediately. Now, I'm feeling some sensation and redness in my eye. It can be cured with the normal eye drop or I need to consult with the doctor.

Continuing headache since three days, at the point between 2 eyebrows. And not comfortable with the spectacles all of a sudden and not comfortable without specs either.
