My 22 month son is suffering from eye infection. His left eye is little red after Tuesday then we consult pediatrics on Thursday. They give some medicine but it doesn't effect, his redness is increasing also. Now he started rubbing his eyes. Please suggest me what to do.

I recently got my son's eye checked from eye doctor. After check up my son got only cylindrical power in both eyes 1.75 and 2.50 with vision 6/12. Is there anything serious ? What are the complications of these numbers and vision. What precautions should we take. Thanks in advance.
