I am taking metformin 3gm daily along with Januvia and Amaryl. Also Tresiba and Actrapid insulins. I was advised by many medical practitioners that the maximum dose of metformin is 2 gm. Would like to know actual facts I am diagnosed for Type 1 DM at the age of 25. The metformin dose was increased by my doctor when I was prescribed with Tresiba and Actrapid I am doing good with these medicines as the recent HbA1c is 6.5

I have tpo antibodies in blood which caused hypothyroidism wanted to know if this is AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES and also if am prone to other auto immune diseases

My random blood sugar came in at 57. Anything to worry or does it has any implications. I am a non diabetic and not taking any medication for diabetes Thanks

I'm 60 years old, weight 95, blood pressure is 150/100, yesterday I got my sugar, it is 155 fasting in blood, Nil in urine, these are first time otherwise it would be below 100 in fasting and ppbs. What do you suggest?
