During covid19 treatment, sugar level increased because of steroids and other medications. Need a healthy diet chart for controlling sugar

I have started thyroid medication 25 mg from Jan'2021 as my TSH was 12.75. Now my thyroid is well under control. So, I want to know whether I have to take thyroid medicine life long or can stop after some time?

My wife her age is 40 , she was hospitalized due to covid by God's grace she is recovering and getting better day by day, while another bad news that her sugar levels are increased to 400 she didn't have any deabetis symptoms before. Does her sugar levels comes to normal after complete recover from covid in future? How it could effect her daily life. Please suggest.
