Fluctuation in sugar level after surgery
Diabatic patient undergone surgery APR was done under general anaesthesia. Post surgery patient was kept on insulin with 04 units of dose trice a day & insulin degludec 16 units after dinner. During Midnight times the suger levels are coming as low as 40 and next day morning shooting upto 300. Please suggest to maintain constant optimum suger level.

Looks like the insulin dose of degludec is high and it causing low sugar at 3 am and rebound hyperglycaemia by 8 am u may need to reduce the dose. So kindly consult with reports
