Hi, my father in law tested negative for covid today, he was under a steroid dosage of 8 mg which was tapered down to 4 mg and it was stopped day before yesterday.. Currently he is taking glycomate 500mg and was adviced to take ecosprin 75 AV for 3 weeks.. His blood sugar after 2 hours of taking breakfast showed 270 mg/dl today, is it because of steroid or does he needs to increase the dosage of glycomate?? If it's because of steroid, how long it's effects last? Kindly suggest.

Hello, my father has had angioplasty treatment in February 2019. He has diabetes and high blood pressure for which he's currently taking medicines. Age: 61 Height: 5'6" Weight: 74 kgs. Its 21st day since me and my family was diagnosed with covid. My home is diabetic. She takes up medicines regularly and her blood sugar levels were quite normal and sometimes its even below 100 over the past few days. 3 days back we consulted the doctor whose medications were being follwed from the first day of covid(May 1)  and he asked her to stop taking basalog injection.Two days back her father expired. Today blood sugar as noted is 244/396. I am clueless what to do. A bit swelling in the lower portion of the eye. No other symptoms as of now. Please help me
