HBA1C value
Just got mother's HBA1C done, she is diabetic from 3-4 years, and got recovered from covid 45 days ago. Due to news of mucormycosis, we did her HBA1C done, it came out to be 7.6. However since she is maintaining sugar from 2 weeks, her levels are 120/150 fbs/ppbs. Mom was treated at home but had steroids for 6-7 days (12mg deflazacort). It has been 45 days post recovery. Is there any risk of mucormycosis?

Sugars are within normal range now. But hba1c (which is indicator of glycaemic control of past 3 months) is more so she can be at risk.. Just take safety precautions and consult immediately if any symptoms dere.
