Last month my hba1c was 6.1 and then stopped total sugars , weight was 79 which is now 74.4, after one month hba1c is 5.3 ,didn't took any medicines, what should be next steps, can sweets be taken occasionally? What about potato and other vegetables and fruits? Before the first hba1c test I used to take sweets daily basis so maybe the test was elevated because of that?

Your HbA1c dropping from 6.1% to 5.3% within a month is an excellent sign and shows that the earlier rise was likely due to daily sweet intake and higher weight. Since your sugars are now normal without medication, continue the same healthy diet and activity level. You may take sweets occasionally in small portions, and vegetables and most fruits are fine in moderation; just limit potatoes and very sweet fruits. Recheck your HbA1c after 3 months to ensure it remains stable.
Next Steps
*Continue the same diet and activity.
*Recheck HbA1c after 3 months.
*Monitor fasting and post-meal sugars occasionally.
Health Tips
*Sweets: allowed occasionally in small portions.
*Potato: take in moderation.
*Vegetables: all non-starchy vegetables are fine.
*Fruits: 1–2 servings/day; avoid excess banana, chikoo, mango.

Your Hba1c levels are within normal limits. No need to worry about for now . you can eat whatever you want . Just avoid taking refined sugar too much as it is anyway unhealthy. If you have any family history for diabetes get your hba1c levels checked every 3 months .
Focus on dietary & lifestyle modifications - avoid spicy , oily, fat, fried, junk foods, mind the carbs intake(choose wisely), take a fruit daily (anyone of these -apple, guava, pears, oranges) add green veggies, stay hydrated- adequate fluid intake, avoid sugary drinks, packed, processed foods,
You can take sweets occasionally,
Exercise, walking, yoga is advised
Next Steps
Repeat Hba1c after 3months, keep monitoring your sugar levels
