Hi Doc, My HbA1c is 5.9 what is this. Request you pls  suggest  precaution . Is this serious issue??

Hello there Im a Diabetologist. Hba1c is 3 months of average sugar.. If it is less than 5.7 its normal If it is between 5.7 to 6.5 it is pre diabetes If it is more than 6.5 it is called as diabetes. You are at 5.9. Which is pre diabetes stage. But if it comes first time than do yoga exercise surya namaskar. Repeat same report after 3-4 months.

Stop carbs intake as you are borderline diabetic. So reduce it by exercising and reducing carbs

It tells you have impaired glucose tolerance or pre diabetic. Do daily walk 30 minutes per day. Avoid oily foods junk foods. Avoid carbohydrate rich food such as rice during night. Instead you can use low glycemic index foods such as oats if it suits you.
