I am 31 years old and my HBa1C shows 5.8 percent and average estimated glucose is 119.6 and Fasting blood sugar is 94.2. Am I diabetic and do I need to control in sweets. What foods do I need to consume more and less

Less than 5.7%is the normal hba1c Yours is5.8% So by just 0.1%you have come in prediabetic range.. Fbs,pp is absolutely normal.. So absolutely nothing to worry Follow healthy diet and walk regularly for 30-45 mins for getting back to normal range. Need few details.consult online

Hi... Noted above results... Your blood sugars are normal... but slightly in prediabetes range.. Referrence value: HbA1c normal means less than 5.7... 5.7 to 6.5 is prediabetes Above 6.5 is Diabetic Steps to prevent : 1. Healthy diet - timely food and balanced diet 2. Regular exercise or walking for 1 hour 3. If over weight - get weight reduction Should help in reversal and prevent further getting diabetes
