Diabetic diet
Can recently diagnosed diabetics (hba1c 6.9) and FBS 106 eat beetroot, carrot, pomegranate and apples ? Some people are saying that diabetics should avoid beetroots as it shoots up sugar levels. Please suggest if these are safe.

It's better to avoid beetroot, potato.. or may take it occasionally. Pomegranate and apple can be eaten. Not a problem. Carrot can be taken in the form of salad.
