Definitely HBA1c will be the gold standard test for you .. you can stick to diabetic diet with physical exercise based on your age and morbidities if any , .. sometimes fatty liver disease too contributes to an marginally higher fasting sugar levels ..but in your case better to check the venous sample not the CBG ( Glucometer) for the fasting and PP blood sugars and HBA1c at the earliest

Your FBS is 160 which is likely suggestive of diabetes and pp is 150 which is in impaired glucose tolerance range.... U r at initial stages of diabetes... U need to start modification of diet and exercise.... Cut down your carbohydrates by half increase protein intake... Cut down sweets.. Start some good exercise which will help u to cut down your wt by 3 to 4 kgs..... Repeat FBS AND PP aftrr 15 days.... And HB1ac when possible... After reassesment may need to start tablet.. As I am not running to start you on medication.. U can definitely wait for few days and HB1ac is also not available..
