Is Ime-9 medicine advisable for people suffering from type -1 diabetes (insulin dependant). Please let me know.

My tsh level is 23 but t3 and t4 levels are normal within its range.I don't have any symptoms of thyroid. So is it a worrying sign? Should I consult a doctor for this condition? Is high tsh level bad for health? What will happen if I remain untreated?

I am having hypothyroidism since 5 years for which I am taking thyronorm. I started with 50 mcg then reduced to 25 mcg.I have lost weight & since 1 year my thyroid is under normal level as per past TFT report.But 3 months back I got by TFT done in which my anti tpo was positive but T4 & T3 & TSH were normal.For past 1 month I am experiencing hairloss.My scalp is visible.At the same time neer my neck enlargement subside in this past 5 years which causes embarrassment.It seems as if I have additional protrusion on my neck.Inspite being on medication my neck enlargement is not subsiding though my T4 T3 TSH are normal (but anti tpo is positive) Due to my neck enlargement I switch my dose back to 50 mcg Kindly advise what should I do next ? I will be highly obliged if you will help me out

My mother in law has hyper thyroid n doctor has prescribed her betacap10 mg..should dis tablet should be taken before or after food...kindly tell as prescribed doctor is out of station for 1 month...

Am b12 deficient(no anemia blood test found normal) also found H-Phyllori bacteria, now am taking regular neurobian forte every month I was feeling OK for some time. But just before few days of my regular shot i got all the old symptoms like numbness, pins&pains in hands and leg specially at left side of the body of tje body also heart palpitation and motions. Please suggest which specialist is the best to treat this kind of problems. Even after taking one extra b12 injection also am not feeling well, it's worsening day by day please suggest. Hi, this is for my mother. She is diabetic for 12yrs, now, and is on medication ever since. But since 6-7 months I have noticed a drastic downfall in her health. She has lost lot(s) of weight (under weight now). Complains about sever pain in her upper back, I have also noticed swelling in extreem case. Lost her apetite, coughs frequently (not seasonal). Cant walk for more than 3-4 mins at a stretch and have heavy breathing. I will be glad if anyone of you could help me recognize the problem and guide to the appropriate doctor/treatment.

My mother is 56 years old. She is diabetic(heredity), high BP and has thyroid. She is now suffering with Hemoglobin(7.9%),Creatinine level 1.49 mg/dL, excessive loss of hairs, loss of appetite & swelling of body. Can you please suggest if I need to go to a specialist or general physician will help more with this type of case? If you can help with a doctor familiar with these multiple conditions.

I have been playing badminton every day heavily for 2 hours for last 5 years but yet I haven't lost a single kilogram of weight. I have only increased 4 kilos in last 2 years. I follow normal diet every day.I am not a heavy eater.. is it because of my hypo thyroid condition that I am not losing any weight? kindly suggest ways to lose weight... my height is 165 cm and weight is 74 kilograms...

I have heard many times that, if one of the parent has diabetes, it can transfer to child. But what if someone gets diabetes after marriage and when kid is 10 years old. How can it transfer then? Currently I am 18 and my father got diabetes 8 years back. So how can I get it? Moreover what are the preventions I can take to make it 100% avoidable? Is it possible that even my one parent's got diabetes and I don't?
