Throat swelling amd mild

Cough often
My wife always have problems of cough with mucous in throat. It disappears after some cough syrup. But again reoccur after some weeks. When she takes head bath again it starts. Cold since 1 month
He can't breathe properly coz he is always having a blocked nose. Left side of his head just above the ear he feels heavy.. Lil pain near the chest . Doctor gave antibiotic for cold but no help... He feels very stuffy.. Please advise what should be done
