Yesterday went to hospital with fullness of ear and pain, doc said fungal infection in ear I'm scare of cleaning, then prescribed drops and antibiotoc and pain killer. My ques is.. Is it compulsory to clean my ear?? How many days will it take to cure infection

Initially I just had sneezing with little cough and watering of nose. I ate levocetrizine 5 mg for 4 days, when I left the medicine the symptoms got worse. Recently diagnosed with ear infaction (a little pain and heaviness)but after started taking medicine next day left ear started ringing I am taking medicine including ear drop for five days but there is no improvement.ringing increased spacially at quite times at night.
