Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

He went for swimming yesterday and then had ear pain entire night. Gave him a pain killer. He still has ear pain.what should I do.?

I get fungal infection in ear every now and then. How do I get rid of it? It pains and then I have to get it out through suction.

My 85 years old mother is suffering from bad cough ( wet) and chest congestion for last 10 days. We have given her cough syrup for last one week but her cough has worsened. Since she is on walker, its difficult to take her to a doctor. She gets prolonged bouts of coughing for hours at a stretch. She does not suffer from cold or body ache. Pl suggest treatment for quick relief.

I was having discomfort in my throat for last 2-3 weeks with minor pain while swallowing. I thought it maybe due to nature of my work as requires lengthy phone calls throughout the day. However in last 2 days I noticed enlarged Adam apple in my throat and it seemed have bulged a bit. I had last week taken thyroid test & numbers seems within normal range.
