Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I have a swelling and a painless node or something in left cheek since one month. .ultrasound shows Small heteroechoic nodule in left masseuse muscle in mandibular region.

My mother has very sensitive hearing. Any sound other than soft songs and normal conversation gives her a lot of discomfort. We had been to an ENT and no issues to deafness was found. Only a multivitamin (Full 24) was prescribed. Is there any kind of solution in regard to sound insulation available which can reduce the loud sounds impact? During festivals, it is getting discomforting for her!

I have undergone removal of seroma under local anesthesia with stiches and small cut in cartridge for drain and pressure bandage . After 5 days small cyst agiab formed . Stitches done and invansion done. Now today after 8 days cyst found like initial and invansion done once again. This was done by ENT surgeon . What will be firm solution. I am unable to go work also due to the dressing and bandaid. Mentally depressed.

Hi Doctor, Thanks in advance for taking time to answer my question. I have cold allergy & Eustachian tube keep opens and closes. Sometimes when I try open my ears with valsalva i hear ringing for few seconds . The occasional ringing happens with head movements, while turning or while opening ears and when exposed to very loud noise (like gun shot) . The ringing is for few seconds . It's really concerning. I have done audiometry test before 6 months. My score is 15 in both ears and doctor told its normal . My concern is , Is this occasional ringing a cause of concern or it's due to ETD . And should I repeat Audiometry?

I have a sore throat and voice change from the last 2 weeks and sometimes cough with shortness of breath. Doctor examined and said that it is Rinkey's Edema and doctor prescribed below medicines for me for 5 days 1. CAPSULE SOMPRAZ D 40 mg 2. TABLET TELEKAST L 3. MEDROL I feel little better than before now, but still not cured completely. Suggest some other medicines for permanent solution.

I was operated for Pseudo cyst in pinna last week through aspiration followed by stitches with small opening in cartridge for drain with pressure bandage .Third day bandage was removed.no recurrence found . Fifth day stitches removed , small recurrence found and fluid removed. Today seventh day and recurrence found like day one. How to get complete resolution. Pls advise.

A solitary nodule in right lobe. benign ? in my soft tissue report what does it means. I'm suffering from neck pain and my voice is changed

Last week ,I was operated for pesudo cyst in pinna under local anesthesia . Fluid was drained out and pressure dressing was done with two stitches. After one week stitches are removed. Again cyst developed. What is the solution

I scratched my ear by mistake and it was itching, then I got scaly skin in my ear too. My ENT doctor prescribed that I should clean my ear with rectified spirit using some kind of stick with cotton (manually made cotton swab) on both sides before putting Otiflox drops inside the ear. Is it safe to use rectified spirit (90% ethyl alcohol) to do that? Or should I directly put Otiflox drops in my ear without cleaning it?
