Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Ive been having pain in my jaw neck throat area just below the jaw line on the left side for 2 days it is a tight weird pain. Slightly swollen lymph node. My doctor sent me a zpack. What could this be?

Actually I have lil bit cold and having problems can't take proper breath from n always keep my mouth open..

Sometimes when I am sleeping I have problem taking long breadths.I feel something is stuck down my chest.When I wake up later in the morning , I fell a lump of cough formed in the throat chest area which tastes very bad. I am not able to throw it out. What is happening to me ?
