Pain since 6 days mild swelling on skin of skull behind and top of ear. lump feels tender and pains on pressing gently

You may be having furuncle or boil arising from hairs of the scalp. It is a very common infection which may form into a abscess if not treated appropriately. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers for few days for faster recovery
