I've been allergic cold and nose block due to this cough also attacked.night time cough is more and vomit too happened

I have sevier throught pain while eating or whin i drink water also i feel nose block due to cold also the pain gradually increased from my small toung to end of my neck portion in the throught section

Hi Doctor, My left ear pain started by on 4th Jan, slowly, i could feel I was catching cold by 6th Jan. By Saturday noon the cold increased, had running nose. Parallely, my throat started paining. When i consulted a doctor nearby, got to know it was throat infection on 9th Jan. The throat pain is severe and after 3 days of medication, the problem is still the same. Would you suggest to get myself examined with ENT specialist or should i continue having the medication. I am finding it difficult to swallow any food other than water. Please help.

This is probably a stupid question but, I know that we all have different pipes in our throat (the windpipe and food pipe) so is the windpipe on the right side or left side?
