Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

These days I am seeing lots of videos on the use of ear candles for removing ear wax. Is it safe and recommended ?

My wife has nose blocked with headache above eyes. It gets increased in night and early morning. Difficult to breathe sometimes.

I have got a horrible phobia! Never in my life I let water go into my ears (don't swim), have to use valium to be able to fly due to my ear sensitivity to altitude changes (have even ruptured things in my ears). Basically my ears can't handle the pressure. I might be facing the ear cleaning after the ear drum perforated in my left ear. To say I am very scared of this is an understatement of the year. I'm not able to tolerate any instruments in my ears. Can they sedate me for this? I'm 29.

I am suffering from severe cold and cough since 10 days... consulted to a general physician....he told me I have throat infection and air blockage in lungs.. the medicine did not work at all now I am having ear blockage and throat ache...and at nights the coughs are worst. can you please suggest to which doctor should I go an ENT specialist or a pulmonary or any other?
