I have been experiencing irritation while swallowing and difficulty in same. Never experienced this before. While I gulp water, I can feel difficulty up until chest Is it serious?

In left ear of my mother , the ear drum has a hole and some red patches around it as informed by an ent dr. She is continuously having problem in hearing even what I said standing near to her. Moreover in the same left ear , she told me that a fizzy or a whistling type of sound continuously gets heard due to which she is unable to hear other sound. In the right ear, mucus gets accumulated around the ear canal and it gets dry and hard. Because of this she is not even able to hear from left ear as well. Dr suggested operation for the ear drum rupture but I am reluctant of doing it. Please suggest what should I do? Any option to cure it without any operation?

I had broken my nose while playing football.i under went surgery. one side of my nose is always blocked at night time.i had done removal of fungal sinositis 2-3 years ago. what can i do to prevent nose problem. i also have a deviated septum.please help.
