Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Why is otrivin not recommended for children under 2? My baby is 6 months and have been struggling with a cold and blocked nose. I don't find the saline nose spray very helpful and have used otrivin on a rare desperate occasion and found that it worked so much better and my baby had instant relief. Is it unsafe to use otrivin?

I had given drotin to my brother for the severe ear pain of both, which pain also associated with headache and throat pain is it ok or not for drotin? After half n hour I asked doctor whether it will work or not then doctor told to give aerosol p. So I want to known whether the drotin will support for ear pain or not ? Is there any problem by giving this for ear pain

Got hit with a water balloon hard on my left temple area. It's 3 days now & I am getting both my ears clogged, when I blow with my nose closed, it open up for a while then again clogged. Now I am starting to have pain from my temple till middle of cheek & headache. Do I need to consult a doctor? Is it serious?

There is an wierd sensation of swelling on my right side of the cheeks till the bottom of my throat following by a sharp pain at the bottom of my throat on the same side, i am even having a soar throat, and its been a while since i am feeling it about 2 months

Three days ago I swallowed supari. I very forcefully tried to vomit by inserting a finger in the mouth. there was no vomit, only some spit and little brown kind of thing(not sure if blood or supari). I keep feeling a little uneasy/pain in the cervical esophagus. I feel it more prominently today. I had one zincovit today. I fear that I might have had a tear/ rupture of the esophagus.there have not been any more vomiting or other problems apart from the little pain on the cervical esophagus area.

I am having cough and cold for about 3 weeks now. I have taken all the prescribed medicines and cough syrups but It's not working. Moreover I also had fever 2 to 3 times during those days.
