Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I got ETD before 6 months. I consulted a ENT doctor recommended it will be cured naturally, he told to apply some nasal drops for 2-3 days. But still now I am hearing ringing sound in my one ear. And I hear cracking sounds often. Any particular treatment is required further or can I leave as it is? What are my options?

I am facing congestion while breathing, So I used otrivin and it works fine. It has been 4 years since then. So in mid September I took an allergy test and the result revealed that the Ige level is 945.5. So what should I do regard this, or any medicine which I can take.?

I seem to have lost my sense of smell completely. I constantly got cold and I thought it was due to the AC in the car but about a couple of months ago, I realized that the cold didn't remain just cold but have gone to the extent where I lost the sense of smell. I am a regular smoker and also drink about 4 pegs everyday.

This topic is little technical but I wish to know doctors perspective. If I am using in ear phone for like 3 hours straight , is it bad for my ears ?

Hi, Recently I have bought mediclaim policy but unfortunately later I found that every mediclaim policy covers ENT after 24 months. I do not wish to postpone this surgery any further. 1) Any wayout to deal with this as more than 10 months are passed since I have been suggested by ENT specialist to undergo tympanoplasty? 2) Meanwhile Can I proceed with swimming with all protection gears like Cap,Ear plug? 3)What precautions shall I take being a ground sports person?
