Mouth and tongue got ulcers multiple times. Acid reflux also happens I have tried using b12 tablets

My dad has been experiencing a constant beep sound in his right ear since 6 months.. recently it has increased considerably..at times it fluctuates between high and low..  this has disrupted his routine and sleep cycle.. he is unable to sleep with this noise being heard persistently.. he is very very badly worried What is the issue, cause and remedy? Is it something serious to worry about.. Pls help
