My baby is showing discomfort while sleeping looks like it's cold as she is opening mouth and feel like coughing or making some sounds like something is stuck in throat or discomfort in mouth.

My baby boy is 3.5 months old...he was having cough and mucus built up...so doctor had given him medicines and asked us to come after 10days... yesterday I went for baby check up so doctor told mucus has reduced but there was cough so doctor gave mucolite syrup and saline drops...im worried why cough is still there..after giving mucolite syrup from yesterday there is no improvement in cough so I'm really worried.. pls doctors tell me how much time it takes for my baby to completely recover from this...how does this syrup works and how much time it takes...I beg you all pls tell me...I can't see my baby caughing

Hello doctors, I need some advice regarding this. My son is 11 months old and his last checked weight is 8.5kg. last Christmas 26 dec 2023 his cold started, and severe cough, I was at my in laws house, a very close relative who's  also a post graduate doctor suggested to give b cure syrup, that's dextromethorphan hydrobromide phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate syrup. I was asked to give 2.5 ml.. it's been more than 15 days. his cough is still continuing, I decided to stop giving the syrup, now at this he vomits his formula milk twice due to cough. My son has a regular pediatrician, I'm just scared to text her now about his condition, I gave medicine without talking to her. What should I do. He had a running nose, but not now. It's just the cough that's bothering him. Please. Advice what should I do. I'm a first time mother, I have no idea how to handle. Please doctors suggest the next step.

Our baby boy is 6.5 months old now and he fell from bed (less than feet high) 2 days ago. He is active from next morning itself and doing all activities. No pain is felt anywhere in body. However he omited after his morning food once yesterday and today night after feeding. He has not omited during any other feeding apart from the above two and also no omit during breastfeeding or formula feed. Is this any matter of concern, shall we monitor for another day Or consultant doctor ASAP?

I am currently breastfeeding my 1 year old baby. Is it safe to take Augmentin 625, Macberry-XT Syrup, and Montina L medicine. Kindly advise.

Hi, My daughter is 20 months old, she is not eatiing any dry or liquid food from past 3-4 months. Now she is into only formula milk and some fruits daily. She refuses whenever and whatever we feed her she does gets hungry but refuses to eat food. Tried multiple cerelac, home prepared food like raggy, rice purey and dry fruits she doesn't eat. Before, atleast we were able to feed her by taking her out now that is also not working. Her weight is 10 kg she is very thin. We got the recent blood check up. Can someone pls advise any medication required. Pls advise any methods to feed her. Thanks in advance.

Hello doctor, my baby girl is about to complete her 15 months.. Since her birth whenever she starts to cry she stops her breathe, cry soundlessly, after 2-3 minutes sounds resumes.. Why this happens ? Is this a problem? Will it be lifetime  issue? Kindly clear.

Hello Doctors, My daughter is 5 year old and she is getting cough almost every month from the time she has started going to school (2 years). And she'll be coughing for 10 - 15 days even after giving medicine (cough syrups) prescribed by doctor and no proper sleep in the night. Sometimes she complaints of pain near chest. And her weight is not gaining because of frequent cough. What is the cause for this and when it will reduce ? Any tests need to be done? Please suggest what else I can do to help her get better.
