My daughter is having constipation problem for last 1 year. She is taking laxopeg medicine every day consuming through milk. But she is eating proper fiber rich food , water intake . But still medicine required to pass the stool easily. Need help in solution even after having fiber rich food why her constipation problem still continues.

Hello Doctor, My baby was born preterm at 34 weeks 3 days on 4th December at 9:00 PM. Current age is around 3–4 weeks and current weight is ~2.2 kg (lowest was 2.0 kg). Our pediatrician has prescribed MCT oil – 10 drops, to be mixed with milk. Baby is being fed mostly expressed breast milk by bowl/spoon, with total intake around 300 ml in 24 hours. I would like to confirm: Is MCT oil safe for preterm babies? Should it be given with every feed or selected feeds only? For how long is it usually continued? What side effects should we monitor (loose stools, spit-ups, gas)? How do we know when to stop it? Please advise. Thank you.

My baby is 10 month old. He is ballooning of penis while pee since birth but doesn't show any discomfort during urination. But since 1 month he is crying before passing urine when he is asleep. He doesn't have any problem during awake time. He cry only at night. Is it phimosis? Or it's normal?
