My son has had a preauricular sinus pit since birth. we noticed the white liquid drainage from it since Feb last week. it's still the same and not stopping. we saw a pediatrician and an ENT. they gave 2 different antibiotics. so first he took Cephalexin antibiotics for ten days. then he took bactrim antibiotics for next ten days. but it didn't stop at all.  the drainage keeps coming back. will it not stop with antibiotics? is it normal to have drainage for so long? it's white liquid and  whenever we pull the ear, the drainage comes. it doesn't smell bad. do I need to see another ENT ? what antibiotics work for this? ENT talked about surgery. can we do surgery while it still leaks the drainage?

My 11 month old dont want yo eat anything...his weight is too low...he is not all interested in solids...earlier he was eating somehow but now totally not intrrested...bw 2.4 kg...now artound 7.1 kg. Can i add simly mct oil to his diet...is yes tell me the quantity.

My daughter is facing challenge in articulation of full sentences and speech issues ( uses gibberish to describe), not able to express and articulate her requests. She normally points fingers or hand gestures for what she needs. Her mental and physical development is at par with her age. Even when she knows the word she doesn't use it. Also has challenges in sitting in one place and poor concentration. Can you please advise on how to support her to articulate properly for her age?

My daughter of 5 th month is having breast milk for a stretch of 15 min every 3 hrs . Earlier she was getting feeded for nearly 30 min till she is sufficient . Now it has been reduced . Nowadays how can we protect our kids from risky viral infection. Please share any prevention tips to protect kids against viral diseases. My 7 year daughter had viral fever which later developed lymph nodes and she had fever for almost 2 weeks with neck pain. After 10 days she also had developed pain in one foot. She recovered with proper treatment later but 2 weeks were very difficult for all of us. How can we prevent these kind of diseases in advance? Is this because of low immunity?

My baby turns 6 months next week and we are stuck in a cycle of contact sleeping. Until 3 months, he slept independently in his cot. Now, he only sleeps while being held or hugged. ​If we transfer him to his bed, he wakes instantly or lasts 30–60 minutes max. If held, he naps for 2 hours. His max total sleep is 12–13 hours with the help of contact naps or sleeping and last week it hit 8–10 hours when we tried forcing the bed. He is a very light sleeper, and we are now unable to do anything else during the day or night. How can we transition him back to his own surface without him losing sleep? We are exhausted and need a sustainable plan. He didn't have any sleeping schedule currently. Till feb he had a schedule with 2-3 nights waking for feed but he used to get back to sleep. But now sometimes he gets up and stays awake for 2-3 hours.

My son got scratch from unvaccinated cat just 2hours before. 3scratch and now scab formation has happened. He is 15month old. How immediate should the 1st dose given. I washed it with running water only.
