Can I feed a crushed egg white to my 11months baby. can suggest a diet for him.

My baby is having cold and cough doctor suggested mucolite drop which is not available anywhere (consulted doctor not available in hospital for few days)...  ascoril ls drops... Is available ... Can I give that content and percentage is correct as it's in mucolite... Or really mucolite drops is available..
